Press Release: May 9, 2022 – Family Life Radio Partners with for King & Country for Sold Out Show

PHOENIX, AZ (MAY 9, 2022) —Family Life Radio (FLR) and for King & Country partnered together and hosted a sold-out concert at the Grand Canyon University Arena in Phoenix, AZ.  (View a special recap video here.) 

The FLR team was there to visit with attendees, along with a free photo fun booth. Joel and Luke Smallbone of for King & Country also met with some of FLR’s ministry champions and shared the importance of ministries like FLR who connect the listeners to their music.  

“For King & Country are so genuine! I was in the middle of talking to our donors before the concert when Joel and Luke popped in and surprised us all. They wanted to tell us how thankful they are for Christian radio and the support from donors who help keep us on the air. Joel and Luke are the real deal with a heart to help others to experience hope through Christ,” said Mike Kankelfritz, director of programming and morning show host for FLR.

Arizona is just one of many stops on for King & Country’s “What Are We Waiting For” tour. The FLR team would like to thank Josh Smallbone and Curb/Word Records for the opportunity to collaborate on this event.
