ULTIMATE BABY SHOWER RALLIES THE COMMUNITY TO HELP MOMS IN NEED

TUCSON, AZ (May 6, 2025) — Family Life Radio (FLR), in partnership with several pregnancy resource centers across the country, will be collecting baby items to support families in need as part of the Ultimate Baby Shower (UBS).

These centers offers free services like ultrasounds, parenting classes, baby supplies, food, and other essential resources. They rely on generous donations and community support to provide these necessary resources at no cost to the families they serve.

Pregnancy centers across the country have shared stories of families deeply impacted by the UBS. One center shared this story: “When Abigail first walked in, she was in shock as the ultrasound confirmed she was seven weeks along. Since that first appointment, Abigail fully embraced the journey of motherhood and actively participated in parenting classes—completing nearly every session—and regularly attends Resource Day on Tuesdays to receive essentials like diapers, wipes, baby clothes, and equipment.”

From May Mother’s Day through June Father’s Day, local communities can get involved by bringing items to one of several drop-off locations.

“For 10 years, Family Life Radio listeners have helped thousands of families in need experience hope through the Ultimate Baby Shower by providing essentials like strollers, diapers, bottles, and clothing,” said Mike Kankelfritz, chief broadcast engagement officer at Family Life Radio. “For many, pregnancy can be overwhelming—especially without support. That’s why this outreach means so much to the families we serve.”
