Biography

Murtle’s opened in February of 2017 in an effort to be part of the revitalization of downtown Owosso. After working at a pharmacy for 13 years I also needed a change. I needed less stress, more time with my young son and less stress. It was a leap of faith that was a leap worth taking. I am also blessed with great friends who helped me with the build out and unwavering faith that I was following the path God had planned for me.

It’s really scary to leave a constant paycheck and a job after 13 years but I knew the time was right! I signed my lease and about 15 mins later I wrote my resignation letter to my boss while sitting in the parking lot of my son’s daycare!
