DESCRIPTION:WHAT: Join Kid in the Corner to close out Suicide Prevention Awareness Month with a free community conference focused on connection\, education\, and support. \nWHO: The conference is open to the community that supports youth\, including professionals\, experts\, advocates\, parents\, caregivers and individuals passionate about mental health.\nWHEN: Saturday\, September 26\, 2026\, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. \nWHERE: Virtually via Zoom\, OR\nASU Sky Song Campus\n1475 N. Scottsdale Rd. 200\, Scottsdale \nWHY: The Mental Health Matters Arizona Conference is dedicated to promoting awareness\, understanding\, and support for mental illness in our community. \nAttendees will receive valuable tools on helping today’s youth navigate mental health and discover how to access critical resources that provide support for a number of challenges\, including services for substance use recovery\, LGBTQ+ communities\, eating disorder support\, and more. The conference will include amazing opportunities for networking and collaborating with like-minded individuals in a supportive\, inclusive environment. \nThe fourth year of Mental Health Matters Arizona features informative breakout sessions\, panel discussions\, and keynote speeches covering a broad spectrum of mental health topics. Renowned experts and thought leaders will share their knowledge\, experiences\, and innovative approaches to addressing mental health challenges.
