DESCRIPTION:Event description:  Bethel Community Baptist Church invites individuals\, groups\, and families\, to join them for a dynamic scripture memorization recital event. This year’s theme is the resurrection of Jesus. ScriptureFest will take place on Saturday April 6 from 11:30-5:00 at Bethel Community Baptist Church located at 446 S. Plumer Ave\, Tucson\, AZ 85719. This is a completely free event.\nWhat is ScriptureFest? ScriptureFest is a scripture memorization recital event. How it works is the organizer selects a book of the Bible or a theme (The resurrection of Jesus). Then individual memorizers\, families\, or groups sign up for a passage or group of passages at https://arizonascripturefest.godaddysites.com . On the day of the event everyone who is registered will gather at Bethel Community Baptist Church for fellowship and edification as each one recites the passage they signed up for. The collection of spoken scripture is a delight for the memorizers and the listeners.We have a variety of passages to sign up for based on the resurrection of Jesus. There are gospel resurrection accounts\, 1 Corinthians 15\, Old and New Testament passages\, etc. We have small 2 verse passages to memorize up to passages with 10 verses.\nAt ScriptureFest we will not only be reciting scripture but also eating together\, having fun\, singing\, and fellowshipping.\nThis event is one week after Easter to celebrate and focus on the resurrection which is essential to our faith as Christians.\nSave the date\, and don’t miss out on this awesome celebration of Christ’s resurrection!\n\n\nEvent time and Date: Saturday April 6\, 11:30am- 5:00pm\nEvent Cost: Free
