DESCRIPTION:View the artistry from around the world in the more than 450 Nativity sets on display at Centenary United Methodist Church in Lawrence. This free event is in its 32nd year. Donations of diapers\, winter hats\, gloves and socks will be accepted for The Ballard Center\, an organization that works to prevent families from falling into crisis in Douglas County\, Kansas.\nThe festival is open noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays in December through Dec. 23 at the church\, 245 N. 4th Street\, in Lawrence.\nA special addition this year: An ensemble of the Lawrence Community Hand Bell Choir will ring in the Christmas spirit at 1 p.m. Saturday\, Dec. 9 in our sanctuary. The concert is also free!
