SUMMARY:WALK FOR FREEDOM
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, October 14th\, 2023\, thousands of people will hit the streets and hundreds of cities across the globe to walk in a single file line\, holding posters and handing out fliers- to reach their city with information about human trafficking and how to end it. \nOur group\, Warriors for Freedom\, is partnering with A21 campaign\, which is a global organization that educates and equips everyone to understand identify\, and reduce the risk of human trafficking through programs like educational curriculum\, prevention programs\, and awareness campaigns. \nCheck-in starts at 9 am with the walk to follow. Participants will park in the free parking garage on Chandler Boulevard and Arizona Avenue. It’s located behind\, The Look\, dine-in theater. The group will then meet in the park alongside Arizona Avenue\, off San Marco’s Place\, just to the South of the parking garage. We will walk South on Arizona Avenue to Pecos Road\, then cross to the East Side and walk North to Chandler Boulevard. All participants should come wearing a black T-shirt or purchase one on the a21 website (www.A21.org/walk).
