DESCRIPTION:Do you have limited time to write songs\, dance or create visual art? Do you want to try\, but you don’t know how to start? Come and learn how to connect with God by writing songs\, dancing and creating visual art in a relaxing\, community environment! \nUnited Adoration leaders\, Natalie K. Ziemba (Visual Art Leader)\, Tessa Patterson (Songwriting Leader) and Amy Smith (Flags/Dance Leader) are hosting an Open Studio Time on Saturday\, May 11. \nWe are inviting Christian creatives across the southeast Michigan region\, from all church backgrounds and artistic experience levels\, to enjoy God through community and creative expression. \nOptional Registration Costs: \n$5 – songwriters\, flag/dancers\, and visual artists who bring their own art supplies \n$20 – use our provided visual art supplies \nDoors open at 11:00 a.m. to facilitate time for you to connect with fellow creative Christians. At 11:30 a.m.\, we will lead a creative activity that helps spark your imagination and connection with God and scripture. Then you will have free time to create. Bring snacks/lunch food. Coffee\, tea\, and some snacks will be provided.  \nThis event is focused on gathering adults for fellowship (ages 16+). Ages 10 – 15 are free to register alongside a creative adult. Guests are welcome to come and go as they please. \nSongwriters: there are multiple pianos throughout the building that are available for you to use. You will have access to various rooms throughout the church to create on your own or with others. \nVisual Art Supplies Available: For $20\, you will receive one canvas (your choice of 5×7\, 11×14\, or 16×20). We have acrylic paints\, brushes\, watercolor paper\, colored pencils\, oil pastels\, chalk pastels\, crayons\, and a limited supply of watercolor paint for use\, plus 10 easels that are adjustable for the floor or tabletop. \nDance / Flags: You are encouraged to bring your own supplies. However\, there will be some basic Flags available for use.

SUMMARY:Multi-Art Retreat with United Adoration – Livonia
DESCRIPTION:Christian Creatives from across southeast Michigan and beyond are invited to gather for two days in Livonia\, Michigan. The Retreat Team will facilitate space for Songwriting\, Visual Art\, and Dance/Flagging. We will experience extended time to pray\, reflect on scripture\, eat meals\, create works of art and worship God in community. The theme of our Spring Retreat is “Rescue.” All ages\, church backgrounds and artistic experience levels are welcome! Anticipate God’s presence to inspire and heal you as you rest in Him.\n\nCost $59\n\n\n\nThe event will go from 5pm – 8:30pm on Friday. Then resume from 8:30am – 4pm on Saturday. If you are an out-of-town guest\, email us to inquire on housing opportunities. \nProvided with Registration: \n– Friday Evening dinner\, Saturday breakfast snacks\, lunch\, and afternoon snacks. Tea & coffee throughout the days. We work to accommodate dietary needs such as gluten / dairy free (you can share information on dietary needs in your registration) \n– An “Inspiration Packet” filled with scripture verses\, artwork\, hymns and prayers based on the theme “Rescue.” \n– Songwriters: there are multiple pianos throughout the building that are available for you to use. What is the difference between “Creative Spaces” and a two-day “Multi-Arts Retreat?” \nA: Retreats are a guided journey through scripture\, prayer and your creative process. Our mealtimes provide space to make new friends\, have meaningful conversations and build artistic community. Retreats are an opportunity to have extended personal space with Jesus. In this time\, you can create or receive prayer\, journal\, and talk about what God is doing in your life with fellow artists. Our Leaders are available to serve your needs. The most beloved part of the Retreat is our “Creative Share” at the end. This is a “time of celebration” where we all share our creative expression and testimonies of what God did in you over the weekend. \nLEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES: United Adoration is providing opportunities for attendees of 2 Day Retreats to become “Trained Retreat Leaders.” Attending the 2-Day Retreat is a pre-requisite to Leadership Training. If you ONLY attend a One-Day Creative Space it does not qualify you for the Training.
