DESCRIPTION:19th Annual PICK A PECK FOR PEOPLE at the Country Mill located 4648 Otto Rd\, Charlotte\, MI 48813. God has blessed us with apples to harvest. From 1-4 pm come pick a bag of apples for those in need and receive a complimentary hayride or corn maze ticket to enjoy the farm! This event is free of charge. All apples picked are donated to the Greater Lansing Food Bank\, Believer’s Christian Church Food Bank in Grand Ledge\, area St. Vincent DePaul Food Banks\, and Community Table of Albion\, who will have trucks on hand to haul away all the apples that you pick. This is a great family or group event. Turn in your full bags of apples and Family Life Radio will give you a complimentary corn maze and tractor wagon ride tickets. PRO TIP: You do not need to bring anything to the event. We do have wagons on hand to help you haul your apples\, but if you wish to bring your own\, it is a good idea as this becomes a hot commodity!

SUMMARY:PICK-A-PECK FOR PEOPLE
DESCRIPTION:On behalf of our entire Country Mill family\, we invite you to our 16th Annual Pick a Peck for People\, Sunday\, October 29\, from 1-4pm. God has blessed us with apples and this an excellent opportunity to teach our next generation the impact of teamwork and volunteering. Our family will donate all the apples and you donate your time by picking the apples off our trees and into the bags that we’ll provide. Greater Lansing Food Bank\, Believer’s Christian Church\, IM Kids\, and St. Vincent DePaul Foodbank will be here to haul away the apples to families in need. Family Life Radio will also be at the farm and helping the event. Everyone that picks a bag of apples will receive a ticket for a complimentary corn maze or wagon ride to be enjoyed on Sunday from 1 to 5pm. In the past\, volunteers have picked several thousands of pounds. We hope to make this another record year for the food bank. Thank You.
